How the Hashly leaderboard works

The leaderboard ranks everyone on Hashly by the XP they earn during the calendar month. XP comes from missions: a daily check-in, voting on events and projects on Hedera, submitting events to the calendar, exploring NFT collections and tokens, inviting friends and collecting attendance badges at meetups. Every vote is recorded on the Hedera Consensus Service, so the activity behind the ranking can be checked on-chain.

When the month closes, the top 25 places are paid in embers, Hashly's reward currency: 300 for place 1, 210 for place 2, 150 for place 3, 75 for places 4 to 10, 30 for places 11 to 25. Anyone who reaches 500 XP in the month gets 15 embers if no place pays them more. Accounts must be at least 14 days old when the month closes to be paid, and prizes are worked out on XP from missions and badges: XP from referrals counts on the ranking but not towards prizes.

Embers are spent in the shop on profile frames, name colours, titles, a custom profile picture, streak shields and raffle tickets. Holders of Santuario Hedera dragons also earn embers every day through staking.
