Why We Are Collaborating: This collaboration grew from our shared admiration for each other’s work. I’ve always been inspired by Yana’s unique style, and she has been drawn to the playful, magical world of Hashinal Grims. Yana saw a chance to add depth to these characters by placing them in detailed, story-rich settings. It’s a perfect mix of her collage art and the Hashinal Grims’ charm. “When I saw the Hashinal Grims,” Yana explains, “I knew that setting them in scenes could reveal more of their soul. The characters inspired their worlds, and I just helped bring them to life through collage and animation.”
